Haruki Murakami is a Japanese author, world renowned for his his writing for the magical realism genre, creating parallel worlds that hold powerful absurd changes from our reality. In the production of this project I chose to represent his work through purely abstracted forms, condensing elements of the books into representational elements. The colors and patterns shown are expressive of tone’s and actions that take place throught the books to drive readers to make these striking connections.
